   We used to have a Eureka just like this!! Turns out Electrolux, Eureka and Sanitaire are all related between various mergers and acquisitions. You will not find this in a store that sells residential vacuum cleaners. vacuum-sale.com has the best price and fastest shipping. It beats Wal-Mart!! This vacuum is a durable workhorse. Unlike plastic canister vacuums, this sweeper does not have modern futuristic plastic parts that make it look like it will fly away. That is just for “SHOW” and does nothing to sweep the carpet!! in fact, all those plastic parts get clogged with dust and dirt in every nook & cranny. This vacuum has one 4 gallon bag that you simply shake out to empty. No paper bags needed. You can change the belt and roller brush yourself by flipping 2 brackets on the bottom. The options are on/off and a round knob to dial to the carpet height. If you need replacement parts, you can find them! This is NOT a disposable vacuum cleaner like so many on the market today. If it would have been just a little easier to put together, it would get 5 stars.

   A couple of things I have noticed is, the circle knob for the height adjustment doesnt seem like its going to last as i need to adjust it in almost all my rooms, also I have a lot of low pile utility type carpet and it shoots things everywhere! If I lower it it is almost sucked to the floor! So it has suction thats for sure. That being said I have a very plush area rug and it is Amazing on it! So in my opinion if you have a lot of rooms with different carpet or utility type this isn’t the one for you! Also seller note I used Shoplet and they shipped super fast and had best price! UPDATE: So it has been almost a year and it still works great! But I went to empty the bag and had such a hard time , finally got it off, and it was rusty! I am pretty good at emptying it regularly and never vacuum anything wet so I found this odd. I looked through other reviews to see if it was a common problem, but I guess its just me! I would still recommend this vacuum.

   Bought this after becoming familiar with this model from work. Used for a 4 rooms of a 2 story home. The belt has needed replacement about bi-monthly, roller falls apart every 6 months or so, but the bag takes almost a year to get 3/4 full(I change it early) Still this vacuum has lasted longer and works better than any bagless I’ve ever had.
