   Compré el S8 Max, limpia de maravilla, pero duro apenas 1 día y comenzó con error 56, dice que supuestamente tiene algo atorado en el sistema de mopa, busqué y busqué y nada, derroentw volvió a funcionar pero ya no levanta la mopa al moverse y volvió a presentar el error 56, ni 3 días de uso. Limpia muy muy bien pero me dio la peor experiencia después de haber comprado el S7. Y lo peor de todo es que la devolución hay que pagarla, vacuum-sale.com solo reembolsa 400.00 pesos lo cual es una burla. Un producto de 24,000 pesos que deja de funcionar al día siguiente es una terrible experiencia y peor sin poderlo regresar de forma sencilla y que no sea muy muy costosa.

   Mi robot es maravilloso, todas las mañanas hago una revisión rápida de la casa y la pongo a trabajar, guardé dos mapas en la app ya que mi casa es de dos niveles y puedo cambiarla muy fácil a trabajar arriba o abajo. Mis pisos son de mármol y con el detergente especial de la marca quedan muy bien y también limpia sin problema los tapetes de caucho del gimnasio. En la app restringí algunas habitaciones que suelen ser caóticas en casa como el lavadero y solo programo la limpieza de esta área cuando ya he hecho una revisión previa de que no haya obstáculos mayores. Limpia todos los rincones y me ahorra muuuuuucho trabajo.

   My husband complained about why I would spend such a big fortune on one robot. Here is why:
   1) It does the cleaning job nicely. The corner brush makes a big difference, so the room would not have a dead end. It is all automatic, from vacuuming to mopping, no need to worry. You can even start the cleaning anywhere out of the house.
   2) It can jump a little bit. I have a bathroom threshold that is a little bit higher, initially I was worried whether it can make it. I am so happy to see it jumps a little bit to make it. so funny.
   3) It is quiet, which is really important since we work at home these days.
   Of course, I only own this unit for a couple days, so can not comment on how long it would last, but considering how little I need to do to keep the house clean, I would say this is my best investment for myself this year.

   I can’t say enough good things about our Roborock, aka Roberto! After trying three other robot vacuums that either got stuck, missed spots, or just weren’t up to the task, I finally found this gem, and wow, what a game-changer!

   Roberto has truly given us back hours of our lives. The convenience of scheduling cleanings and knowing he’ll reliably get the job done without constant babysitting is priceless. He navigates like a pro, never gets lost, and actually cleans instead of just pushing dirt around. The mopping function is a bonus, and the self-emptying dock? Absolute bliss.

   Honestly, you can’t put a price on peace of mind and happiness. Not only is my home cleaner than ever, but my back is thanking me too! If you’re on the fence, don’t waste time with other brands—this one’s the real deal. Roberto has earned a permanent place in our home!

   First off, the problem I had was waiting beyond the return date to set this product up to use. A total regret on my part as this thing is not worthy of a good review let alone the asking price for this product, which was around $1300 when we bought our model, the S 8-Max.
   I’m sorry to have to say this but you’re better off buying a different product as this one disappointedly does not, not the way it’s advertised too.
   This model doesn’t pick-up hardly anything. The brushes are too soft for this to pick up any quantity of crumbs or our dog hair. I tried to get stiffer brushes for this unit but apparently there are none available.
   I’m stuck with this unit that at best is a marginal floor sweeper that’s worth about a third of what the asking price is on this model. And don’t get me started on the issues we encountered when using the water to clean our wooden floors. We’ve had all sorts of issues there as well. Suffice to say, don’t waste your money on this subpar unit/model.

   First of all, let me state that this is the 5th and most high-end Roborock product we have purchased. We own a S7 and a Q5+ in the house, and we also purchased two other S7’s for our parents. These speak to how well we love the Roborock product. Story is long on how Roborock becomes our favorite brand, from the first S7 purchase when we need a mop unit, to the Q5+ purchased 3 months ago to replace our last Rumba (bye bye for good). However, this review would focus on the S8 Max Ultra we recently purchased. First impression: the box is heavy and this thing is huge. I know it’s a big guy from the picture, but is still surprised of its size, especially compared to the Q5+ with its base, and the S7 without a base. The robot itself, however, is actually slightly smaller than the S7. ( See the attached comparison pictures) Set up: it’s as easy as all its precedents. It took me probably 15 minutes from opening the box to see the unit in the app and ready to go. Mapping and first use: initial mapping is very fast. It took about 15 minutes for my 800 sqft floor with many stuff on it. Mopping the whole floor feels slightly slower than the S7. It took about 1 hour and 45 minutes for the whole floor. It went back to base to wash the mopping cloth quite often, 5 times in total if counting the initial one. Cleaning frequency is adjustable, default to 15 minutes. Best thing I like: the convenience. Don’t have to wash the mopping cloth every day is huge for me. It took a bit more space, but still worth it. Things I don’t like: none of the consumable parts are compatible with previous models. The mopping cloth is different from the one for S7. The trash bags are different from the ones for Q5+. I don’t know if this is due to design requirements. But it would be certainly great if Roborock can make their replaceable parts compatible between all products. This is not a big deal, though, especially if you only own one unit. Overall, I still rate this 5 stars. Thanks for bringing the great products to the market.

   So we’ve had the Roborock S8 Ultra vacuum and mop we bought on Prime Day for about 3 months and I gotta say it’s pretty awesome. The vacuum is faster and quieter than our old Roomba i7+ and I think it does a better job. We have it running in different rooms throughout the week, so it’s running about 80 minutes at most vs the almost 3 hours it took the old Roomba. The mop works out well for cleaning the hard floors and we really like that it washes and dries the mop after cleanings so it doesn’t get funky. The auto empty on the vacuum and auto fill and empty for water and detergent on the mop is super convenient. The app isn’t as intuitive as the Roomba app, but I think it’s more useful once you learn it. Only reason for the mark down from five stars because the app is not as easy to use.

   If you end up looking for a robot vacuum, it’s a solid choice, especially if you can score it on sale.
