   I have always had the Miele canister vacuums and I was tired of dragging the canister around and having it hit all the base boards or get stuck around a corner. This is my first stick vacuum. I was hesitant to buy a stick vacuum for years as I didn’t think it would have enough suction. But boy was I wrong. I love this vacuum. Great quality and the tools disassemble so nicely. The head goes from floor to carpeting so no changing the accessory. it has a lot of suction, Great battery life and if very quiet. This is my favorite vacuum that I have owned.

   I ended up needing to return mine. However! It may have been a one-off issue. Something glitched with it, and I could not figure out how to re-set, even after talking with Miele customer support.
   While it worked, it was amazing! Great suction, good battery life, easy to empty the canister, and was gorgeous.
   A little heavy, but worth it for the auction! Loved all of the Accessories. I’d give 5 stars…. But it only lasted a short while before having whatever issue it had

   I did my research on a popular consumer research organization and then purchased this highly rated vacuum. After a week of ownership and use, I find the Miele Duoflex HX1 has nice suction, works well on both our hard wood and low pile rugs and is easy to maneuver. I like that the beater brush automatically turns on when the vacuum detects the rug and stops on the hard wood.

   This vacuum is manufactured in China.

   I have the Miele canister vacuum, the best. I love it. However it is a bit heavy to take it up and down the stairs. I have also the Dyson cordless 6. That is some what cumbersome due to having have to hold the button while vacuuming. I thought I give the Miele cordless a try since Consumer Report also rate it high, only second to Samsung cordless. I purchased it on Black Friday with $150 off!! Received it on time and couldn’t wait to try it. It is as good as rated. Well worth the price I paid. $450 with all the attachments.
   It is quieter than Dyson. More powerful and cleaned so much better then our old cordless Hoover , 20 years old……

   I’m impressed! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this vacuum, but it has far exceeded my expectations. It arrived at one bar charged. So I plugged in the charger and it took about 2 hours to get a full charge. It has automatic shut off, so when it’s fully charged it doesn’t overload the battery and this actually extends the life of the battery. I have a dust buster and another vacuum that do the same thing. I started by doing my steps. Normally I use my dust buster and it gets the job done well (or so I thought until now). This not only collected the dirt and pet hair, it grabbed all the dust too! I had to do a double take because I couldn’t believe it. Ok. Empty bin and try using it on carpet. Wow! The second I turned it on I could feel the suction. It deep cleans. I was shocked at how much it pulled out of the carpet since I had just vacuumed (with my old vacuum) this morning. This is definitely a keeper! It comes with several attachments, holder (wall mount), a quick start guide, and an instruction booklet. Check this out – it has a hidden brush tucked into the main part of the vacuum. It slides right out and then slides right back in when you’re done using it. Amazing! I can finally enjoy vacuuming. And say good bye to my old vacuum and even my dust buster!

   This vacuum works extremely well. I have had a couple of cordless vacs that don’t work half as well. I have found the regular mode works well on wood floors for light items. But I use boost mode most of the time. The battery doesn’t last as long of course, but the effectiveness and time saved make cutting a few jobs into 2 parts well worth it. The flexible hose makes cleaning a car much easier than my previous devices.

   Haven’t been able to detach yet to use the dust buster part but great suction power seems to get stuck on my door mats no biggie it’s amazing how much dirt I pick up with it and the battery seems to last and heavy but not as heavy as the dinasour I was using so lugging up steps is better on my back upstairs I use the robot but does do corners so this works for me and the dinasour goes after we finish with construction it served it’s purpose
