   Would give it a 5 if vacuum-sale.com didn’t interpret that star as “I love it.” Can’t really claim that I’d ever love a vacuum cleaner. It’s still work. This one is very handy, perfect for our old house with different surfaces and woodwork. It’s easy to lift and carry, good for cleaning stairs, small horizontal areas like moulding on doors and woodwork. The suction feels strong, is adjustable, and leaves floors looking clean. For me, the main strength of this vacuum is that it easily handles a variety of cleaning tasks. Features are straight forward, useful, and well designed. Construction feels solid.
   Setup was very simple; instructions were clear, although I do wish manufacturers – not just Miele – would make instruction booklets specific to models. Customers shouldn’t have to face the phrase “depending on model.”
   Have had this for less than a month, so can’t comment on anything longer term, like bag changes or filter changes.

   I’ve owned Miele for decades – this was my 3rd vacuum purchase – and the quality has gone down considerably. The small brush has curled and degraded within 2 months of regular use, whereas the previous one lasted for years! I called up customer service to request a replacement and they insisted that I had to bring THE WHOLE VACUUM to the dealer in order to request a replacement. I’m extremely disappointed ☹️

   Ooohhhh how I love this vacuum! I was looking for a canister vacuum that would be easy to maneuver and this compact is absolutely perfect! For reference I have hardwood floors and tiles in the bathrooms, no rugs. We do have a long haired newfie that sheds constantly. We also have cathedral ceilings that are a pain! Here are the reasons I love it compared to my Compact Oreck: Lightweight easy on the joints Rolls nicely, smoothly, easily. No damage to floors. Quiet Has a filter so dust behind me isn’t blowing all over the places you just vacuumed Multiple attachments that are simple, and work Telescoping wand- get the cobwebs and baseboards Connections are easy- no fumbling or fussing Retractable power cord super awesome! Foot accessible on/ off switch Did I say simple??? It just feels right in your hands, like ergonomically correct. Buy it now Maybe one day I can afford more German tech as in an automobile type

   This is a great little vacuum! We have a small cottage and wanted a compact vacuum that didn’t take up much storage space but had good suction. We had purchase small vacuums before but were always disappointed. This vacuum is awesome. The perfect balance between size and power. It was well worth the money spent on it.

   It is one of the best home appliances we have ever bought! great great product, unbelievable suction power, very compact, useful heads, and the bags can fit in more dirt than I have expected.
   the price is high specially if you want to purchase when there is no discount on it, but if you are sensitive about having a clean floor like us, it’s absolutely worth the price.

   This is a canister vacuum cleaner with attachments for floors, dusting, and crevices. The canister itself measures 17” long by 9.5” tall by 8” wide. The hose is 62” long and connects to a handle and metal telescoping extension tube that together measure 50”. The floor attachment clips to the side of the canister for storage. When stored this way, the vacuum requires a 44x15x12” space in your closet. Including all attachments, the vacuum weighs 13.8 pounds. The motor produces 73 decibels when running. The vacuum requires Miele F/J/M filter bags. Attachments include a round swiveling dust brush, a crevice tool, and a 5” upholstery foot. The motor has 6 power settings, and the floor brush has 2 height settings. This is a very easy vacuum to unbox and put into action. Snap the hose in place on the canister, attach the handle and telescoping tube, attach the floor brush, and you’re good to go. Changing bags and filters is also quite simple. I tested this vacuum side-by-side with the other vacuums I had in the house (2 Miele canisters and a Bissell upright). I sprinkled a heavy coat of flour onto a Persian carpet and gave each vacuum one pass to see how well it could pick up the flour. This vacuum did quite well compared to the Bissell upright, although it left a few more streaks behind than my old Miele C1 model. (See photo; this Miele is 2nd from the left) I think the difference in cleaning between the two Miele C1 models may be due to the foot—the new foot has an extra rim of brushes around the bottom and a metal frame rather than plastic. Still, it didn’t seem to pick up as much flour from the carpet as the older foot. It may do better on other surfaces, though, such as hardwood floors. Overall, this is a quiet canister vacuum, easy to use, light weight, and it does a good job picking up dust.
