Our Dyson V10 vaccum that lasted for years and worked really well for us finally just had too many issues to overcome. We went with this LG and so far it is working very well. Many reviews are saying the battery does not last so we will have to see if we have any issues because our dyson did last for years. We have only had this for less than a month.
At least LG makes it easy to change and switch the batteries. So far the suction is just as good as the dyson, emptying it is easy, the stand is similar to what we had with the Dyson, and the run time is what we expected. We got this on sale for $280 and it seems like a good middle-ground stick vacuum of not being entry-level, but not top-of-the-line with all of the bells and whistles.

The only part of the vacuum I like is the stand. The batteries do not last long and instead of it being constant when the battery runs low or have the battery icon flash the vacuum switches between high and low. I have never experienced a battery operated vacuum do something like this. Plus in order for it to work on carpet you have to put it on high and then hope that it does a good job. Someone recommended it to me as an awesome vacuum but in reality is falls way short of expectations.

I researched stick vacuums like a crazy woman, it’s just how I am LOL! I found a guy who does deep reviews on YouTube and this was top 3 right behind the Dyson. I never liked my Dyson as it was too loud, heavy and you have to hold the button down. This one is way light, quiet and no holding button down. It’s super easy to empty too. I find myself not even using my expensive roomba anymore cuz this is just so much easier, quieter and fun. Pro tip: buy an extra battery and just always have it charging. That way you can switch it out as needed. I have a smaller place (1800 sq ft) so I can get it all done on one charge (on turbo too!) but if it’s bigger you’ll need to swap out the battery which isn’t a big deal. I love that it comes with a stand too. It’s so slim and attractive I have it up in the living room and it’s not unsightly at all. In fact my best friend came in and was like “ooh!” and picked it up remarking how light it is. She bought one that same night!
