   I did a lot research and this vacuum seemed to have the right balance of all aspects (weight, suction power, price, features). I am very satisfied with the purchase! This vacuum is very light, easy to carry around. Suction is adequate for its weight, more than enough for everyday maintenance. I find myself using it more often than any of my corded ones, as it’s just easy to pick it up and start the work. Other things I like about it: – Two suction modes; good for preserving some energy? – Battery is OK, lasting long enough for cleaning up my house – Easy to change to other attachment options – Rather quiet compared to all vacuums that I have had – A LED headlight, especially good for cleaning some under bed area – A battery indicator, very intuitive and helpful – Can rest against the wall without the mount Cons: – Cleaning the canister is kind of tricky. Definitely need help with some paper. See my picture. Capacity is not enough for serious cleaning job. Changing the filter seems easy, but I accidentally opened up the canister when trying to access the filter…

   I’ve owned two of these and both have broken due to the same design fault. The brush roller connection at the end of the long stick is very weak and breaks too easily. There are NO replacement parts available.

   I absolutely love this machine. I’ve had it 2 years and it’s so easy to use because of the suction and how light it is. I use it multiple times a day because I hate tracking cat litter everywhere and it’s perfect for quick sweeps. Admittedly I do have finished concrete floors and low pile carpet, but I really think it would do well with higher carpets too. And it holds a charge for a long time. I probably use it 5 min a day at least with another day for longer vacuuming chores and I think I charge it once a week… Also very easy to clean!

   Where has this been all my life?? My neighbor recommended it. She used to own a cleaning business so I trusted her judgement.

   So lightweight and goes under furniture. Maneuvers effortlessly. Picks up so much dirt, dust, grass and hair. We have a dog and I am still amazed how much is there to pick up every other day. My allergies also seem to have improved.

   We have wood floors and area rugs. No problems going from floor to rug and back. Have had this almost a year. Dump the canister about every 2 weeks. Clean the roller about every two months. Maybe once a month when my mom is with us. She shed’s a lot of her pretty long hair 😉

   I highly recommend this. In fact, I may buy another to keep in the box in case they ever stop making this one. Never want to be without it again.

   I have used this stick vacuum daily. Sometimes recharging it 2 to three times a day. It is light weight and convenient and easy to take apart to clean. I have 5 indoor dogs so I need all the help I can get! Between this vacuum, 2 Roomba’s and a big, heavy Hoover pet vacuum I can sometimes stay ahead of the hair and dirt.
   I am really disappointed that I didn’t pay attention when I purchased this vac that the unit is sealed and there is no way to replace the battery. After reliable, daily use I noticed the vacuum is loosing it’s charge more quickly then it did when it was new so when the battery dies this wonderful vacuum will have to be thrown into the trash and into a landfill. More plastic!!
   When this dies I will be purchasing the comparable Black and Decker with the removable, rechargeable, replaceable battery. The price is about the same and the B&D battery fits my drill and other small tools. As much as I vacuum I have to have a lightweight unit but I am not going to keep throwing them away over a battery. So wasteful. Surprised Kenmore would have such a built in design flaw.
