   Initially, this vacuum seemed good enough, but just two months out of warranty, a defective part needed repair. Reaching customer service was a pain. I reached out over email and got bounce back messages every time I contacted them. The website chat directed me to call, and the first time, I was on hold for hours. The second time, I requested a callback, but they called back just before closing, so when I missed the initial call and called back, I couldn’t reach anyone. On the third attempt, I finally spoke with someone who offered to replace the part for $110. The vacuum cost $160 new. No discounts, no empathy for being just two months out of warranty. I regret investing in a vacuum with a replaceable battery when the main unit didn’t last long enough to benefit from that feature. Overall, a disappointing experience.

   UPDATE: Hoover honored the warranty very quickly and did not require the broken vac to be shipped back. Upon further inspection, Hoover has revised the point of failure I experienced in my review. I am hopeful this fix will work, I can only try. But it looks like an effective fix, I will update after a while. So this is great for for hard floors and pet owners, lightweight and very maneuverable. I was loving it for months. The battery holds a charge long enough for an average house. Suction is good on hard floors and the lighted brush head helps see what you would miss. Unfortunately the lighted brush head also likes to collect pet hair in the rollers and the cheap plastic gear that drives the brush. I had to clear it multiple times and it is not an easy task at all. The collection of pet hair in the gear (hidden from the user) has caused the brush head to become very noisy and seemingly on the way to failure. Imagine my surprise when I found out that brush head is a $113 part. I hope they honor the warranty at least. The motor and all other internals seem great. That one point of failure is a big deal though.

   After a month my power pack has since become defective, the charger itself confirms this, and now I own a giant paperweight that is about as useful as a second belly button

   Very convenient and powerful: I use this vacuum almost daily to just sweep up ….so use the fast speed…. This saves so much of my time and When I do a more thorough cleaning, I use the slow speed as the battery lasts longer.
   So happy to have this vacuum….so much easier than using a cord and having to shift it from room to room. It has lived up to my expectations and does what it promises. It should be a must-have for every home.

   I bought this vacuum in April 2023. Recently a foam seal broke, so I reached out to the manufacturer to try and replace the part. Initially, they told me it was covered under the warranty for 3 years, but they later denied me bc it came from an unauthorized seller. Be careful to check who is supplying your purchases on vacuum-sale.com. I didn’t realize mine was coming from a third party, so now I’ll have to do a DIY repair on my 8 month old vacuum.

   I notice in the product description, this Hoover is described as “lightweight”. I would not describe it that way. I found it to be quite heavy while vacuuming. I mention this because if you are a senior with any sorts of muscular issues in the arms, it might not be for you. Having said that, however, I found this vacuum to be acceptable after a number of failures to get the results I needed in cordless models. Firstly, this Hoover has the most power suction capability of any cordless vacuum I’ve ever purchased. It may not be the one with the most power, but it worked fine for me. Secondly, the battery power lasts a reasonable amount of time for me to vacuum my entire apartment. (I should say here that I have only a small apartment with 2 carpeted rooms.) It will also do a good job on linoleum. It has 3 power settings, and I especially like the lowest setting because it allows you to vacuum in places where power cords are without shredding them . If used on the lowest setting, too, the battery power lasts longer. I would say that overall this is a pretty good vacuum for a cordless, and in spite of the faxt that it is a bit heavy, I have decided to keep it.

    I did like this vacuum. It worked great for my HW floors and carpets. Used it maybe 15-20 times. Now battery won’t take a charge. New battery is $82 bucks! I won’t take a chance on a non-OEM replacement battery. I have a inquiry out on the warantee. Not sure of the details, but its most likely out of warantee and its going in the trash.
    UPDATES: I did buy a non-OEM replacement battery so the Vac is up and running again. I also submitted a warrantee claim because the warrantee for the Vac and Battery is 3 years. Tech sent me some troubleshooting tips but all eventually still led to a failed battery pack. I just received an email that my warrantee claim has been approved and a new 4ah battery pack is going to be shipped to me. So I am giving this 5 stars because of the great support Hoover provided. I had also talked with a CS rep on the phone and that was a very pleasant experience. Kudos to you Hoover!

    I have 4 dogs & a baby so I’m always vacuuming!! This was a splurge for me but we insisted on getting a GOOD one since baby is crawling around. I love the suction on this. I feel like im REALLY getting a bunch of crap off the carpet with this. It doesn’t work well on hard wood floors though. With great suction comes emptying the canister A LOT! its not hard but it is kind of annoying to do. The battery seems to die really fast, I know you can buy another battery but they are EXPENSIVE! regardless, I love it!
