   I’m always looking ways to speed up cleaning around tight spots and in my car. I hate getting out the full vacuum for small jobs. I picked up the Tumoyao Handheld Cordless vacuum in the hopes that it might speed up that process. It arrived in a blue box with all the provided accessories: extension with small opening, hose, wide-mouthed brush head, small-mouthed brush head, charging cable, extra filter, and a little cleaning brush to help brush out the insides of the vacuum head. The handheld vacuum has two speeds and pretty good suction. I really like that it is a rechargeable device and doesn’t require external batteries, simply plug in the USB-C cable to a wall charger and it’ll charge. Unfortunately, there are some negatives here. The wide-mouthed brush attachment seems useless as widening the suction point just reduces the effectiveness of the suction. Yes, the brush is designed to loosen fragments from the carpet or upholstery, but it just doesn’t work well. The narrow-mouthed brush attachment works better, but still doesn’t seem to do a great job. Lastly, when you’ve assembled the vacuum head to the base, it won’t fit back into the box. There’s no way to store this thing with all its attachments unless you eject the vacuum head from the base each time you’re done with it. That’s kind of annoying because I want something I can just grab from the closet and pull out to vacuum. It’s a small thing, but it’s still a thing that could be better. Why not include a carry bag or something where you can toss everything? Overall it’s a nice little handheld vacuum and does decently well on carpet and upholstery, but it has some negatives which don’t let me put it into the “gotta have it” category. Good for what it is, and I plan to use it to clean up the dropped popcorn and food bits around my desk, but I don’t feel it’s something I “need” in my cleaning repertoire.

   This vacuum works well on hard surfaces, such as rubber car mats, and picks up dust and dirt well. However, on carpet for things like dog hairs it is ineffective. It has a powerful suction until the brush attachment is added and then it will only pick up light dust.

   I was initially impressed with the Handheld Vacuum’s strong suction and portability, making it great for quick clean-ups. However, after just a couple of weeks, it stopped working entirely. Despite fully charging, it wouldn’t turn on and emitted strange sounds. Disappointing to say the least!!
