   Súper fácil de instalar y utilizar. La compré para un local comercial y terminé usándola en mi casa, limpia cada piso en 30 minutos a profundidad. Hace muy poco ruido y tiene muchas opciones para personalizar los modos de limpieza, operación, etc. puedes programarla y olvidarte de ella hasta que te vas que vaciar el agua y ponerle más que realmente es una vez a la semana máximo. Permite el limpiar múltiples pisos cambiando el mapa en la app. Hasta ahora no tengo ningún comentario negativo.

   The L20 is one of the only two robots currently on the market that purport to be able to keep medium-pile carpets/rugs dry. The other is the Roomba J9+ Combo (also J7 variant by extension). I got both and pitted them head-to-head. The other unique goal of the L20 is edge mopping. On that, it largely succeeds. The edge mopping has been very effective and reliable, just doesn’t get corners as well as it could. It’s second only to the Braava M6 in this regard. However, my biggest issue with the L20 is that it can’t lift its mop pads high enough to clear medium-pile rugs/carpet, which is why it also offers the ability to drop the pads off at the dock. The problem with the drop-off idea is that there are many cases where it needs to cross carpet or rugs to get to a place to mop. In order to reach those places, it lifts instead of leaves the mops to traverse the rug. So after mopping around the toilet, it drags that pad across the rug to get back to the station. If I put a no-mop zone around the rug, then the bathroom will be “unreachable”. The other-related issue is that, even though it detects carpet well, instead of backing off it, it just spins 180 deg wiping its spinning pads on the edge of the carpet. Workaround is to manually create a carpet zone that is about 6″ larger all around than the real carpet. This is overly difficult because, even though the main map shows the detected carpet, it disappears when you go to add a carpet zone. So it becomes a tedious back and forth process of trial and error to get the zone right. Here are additional issues I have with the L20: 1. Carpet vacuuming performance is sub-par. In my embedded rice test, it picked up 42%, and 52% in intensive carpet mode (but took twice as long). Roomba J9+ picked up 64%. S9+ picked up 74%, as another reference point. 2. On hard-floor vacuuming, the side brush spins too fast flicking light-weight debris into areas it already covered, so doesn’t get picked up. J9 does this too. S9+ excels here. 3. Mopping performance is sub-par. I did four separate mopping tests and L20 consistently took more passes to clean the mess than J9+ with Smart Scrub. M6 took even less than J9+. 4. The manual recommends only putting the base station on tile or marble. I only have hardwood or carpet. 5. The recommended/required maintenance defeats the purpose of the auto-mop washing, unless you really need to mop more than 500 sf at a time. You’re supposed to empty the dirty water bin after every run. You need to refill the clean water 4x as often as the Roomba (determined by careful consumptions measurements after mopping the same floor). You’re supposed to replace the pads after 1-3 months. The bottom of the base station where the pads are cleaned gets nasty, so that needs to be cleaned out regularly too. 6. If your floor can’t tolerate cleaning solution, such as a Swedish Finish, then the pad washing won’t be very effective without solution. It will just be a cold water rinse. 7. It won’t go under bed skirts or drapes. To LiDAR these are impenetrable barriers. Also, glass doors make mess of the maps, so have to go in and edit those. Generally, the J9 mapping is much more accurate. See pics. 8. If you set a no-mop zone and send it to vac+mop, you would think it would just vacuum in the no-mop zone. It doesn’t. Won’t go in there at all, unless you set it to “mop after vac”, which isn’t an available mode for shortcuts. 9. In general, the app experience is not good. It seems like there are a lot of options, but there are a lot of restrictions, so it’s complicated to figure out how to get it to do what you need. It takes way more inputs to do what you want than it should. 10. Voice control with Google Assistant is too limited. You can only tell it to clean rooms that are named with pre-selected names (not custom names), and there is a very limited selection of pre-selected names. Can’t launch favorites or zones with voice. 11. There’s a low hum that goes on for hours while it dries the mop pads. 12. It doesn’t recognize cords when there is low contrast (dark card on dark floor or light cord on light floor). It hoisted itself on to the cord of a plugged-in canister vac to the point of its wheels being off the ground. To its credit it freed itself, but rather forcefully. If it was a table lamp, it might have been pulled off. 13. If you ever stand near it while it’s working, it will map your legs, and even if you’ve moved quite some time (minutes) before it reaches that spot, it will clean around that spot as if you were still there, unnecessarily missing coverage. 14. Involved procedure to clean a room not reachable from base. You first have to tell it to clean everywhere from the base, then pause it, carry it to the target room, then resume it. It will then spend some time roaming around to figure out where it is, tell you it’s failed to locate, then stat cleaning. When it’s done cleaning, it will roam around for a while trying to find a path to the base station, then I have to fish it out from wherever it ended up… usually under the bed. Roomba, on the other hand, just pick it up, put it in the room, press the button. It will immediately clean the room and return to where it started when done. Here’s what I do like: 1. Relatively quiet, both bot and station. 2. Unlike the SW, HW seems high quality. 3. Like all LiDAR bots, it navigates well in the dark, including object avoidance. 4. Edge mopping works well and has been useful in real life. 5. The app comes with a nice Android widget, allowing quick access to shortcuts. 6. The app can run on Windows 11 via the Windows Subsystem for Android. This allows for a nice big screen to work with maps. 7. Wheels don’t slip when mopping. 8. Has a spot-clean button, which is a lot more efficient then going into app and setting a zone. 9. Cleans up close to objects it recognizes, for example it gets all the debris tracked in from shoes left at the door, without sucking up shoelaces. If I had the risk of pet waste in the house, this would probably not be so good, but I appreciate the aggressiveness for my situation. 10. Good battery life, about 1000 sf for vac+mop. Same as J9.

   We have owned the L20 Dreame for about a month now. We are Retired Seniors. This unit is Awesome so far! I am a technical/mechanical guy! I’ve been putting this little buddy/maid to the test. My wife typically cleans the floors. I did a lot of research looking at reviews, and decided to buy this one, as a Possible Christmas present! I DO KNOW about buying wives/ladies things like “tools”! It’s a very GRAY area (LAUGH)! I took a chance and calculated risk! I set it up before Christmas! SHE LOVES IT! REMEMBER-If you have anything more than a tiny apartment, then you will want a unit that is self maintaining, like this one. Don’t go cheapy cheapy! REMEMBER- Don’t go cheapy cheapy, Especially if you have pets roaming around! Buying one of these is like buying a computer. Regardless of price, you have to first decide and define what purposes you need it for, THEN buy one that has the capability and capacity that serves those needs! Some BASIC units have a docking station that serves to charge the unit, and that’s it. You have to dump the dirt compartment by hand and refill solution by hand as well, if it wet mops. You have to manually clean the Mopping pad as well, by removing it and putting it in the wash machine. This single mop pad WILL NOT be sufficient to clean, any more than a tiny apartment! In the case these BASIC units, if you have more than a tiny apartment, the cleaning requirement and demand will surpass the capability of the BASIC unit. Remember, many of these BASIC units can wet mop as well, with a pad. BUT WHERE DOES THE DIRT AND DIRTY WATER GO? Nowhere is the answer, except for some of the dirt adhering to the Mop pad and contaminated water drying on the floor! NOW FOR THE L20 Dreame- 1. It vacuums and wet mops- vac and mop at the same time, vac only, mop only. (use the App to define) 2. IT IS SELF MAINTAINING- This thing is pretty smart! It has dual rotating mop heads that detach automatically, depending of the task. The docking station has; a self contained dirt bag, a fresh water tank, a detergent concentrate dispenser and a gray water tank (dirty water). IN OTHER WORDS, it vacuums and/or mops the floor, then sucks the dirt and dirty water out of the robot when it returns to docking station! It alerts you if the gray tank if full or the fresh water tank is empty. 3. The cleaning is thorough! My wife is elated with the result. She says that it does a better job than she can by hand! It is smart! While cleaning, it will stop at any point during the cleaning task, and return to the dock when it detects that the mop pads need cleaning. It will dock, wash and scrub the pads, then return where it left off, to continue the task. It will do this AS MANY TIMES as required, until the floor cleaning is complete. It will also suck out any dirt from the robot, while cleaning the pads. 4. IS IT CLEAN ENOUGH?- Well this guy/gal takes notes! If it determines that the first pass didn’t do the job, it will complete the main task, return to the dock, scrub and clean the mop pads, THEN RETURN TO ANY AND ALL AREAS THAT IT DECIDED NEEDED A SECOND CLEANING! 5. It’s Intuitive- It initially maps the area by laser. They all probably do some kind of mapping. After that, this one is intuitive. It recognizes doorways, if it detects a doorway, I noticed, it will sketch in an imaginary room on the map, behind the door. Doors open or closed, chairs moved around, things laying on the floor, it does not matter. It adapts EVERY time it is launched, and will clean wherever it can, regardless of the initial map! I you want it to clean under the beds, just make shore you tuck up the bed spread, just enough for it to detect an opening. It will explore and clean. You do not have to lift up the bed spread, all around. It will see it as a obstruction and won’t proceed under it, but if you lift it up and leave a small access, it will proceed and clean the entire area under it. 6. Carpets, rugs and obstructions- It knows the difference between floor and rugs. The mop pads will lift up and rugs will be vacuumed only. There is a limit, if you have a long pile carpet. In this case, you can specify areas to avoid, on the floor map. You can also specify Imaginary walls, if you want it to “go around”! If you look at my one picture, our dock is in a corner and next to the dining room table & chairs. It initially wanted to meander through the chairs to get to certain parts of the house. I drew in an imaginary wall so it now goes straight out to a clear area before turning. Throw rugs- The robot has some weight to it, so it gets a lot of traction. Throw rugs need to have some weight to them and the edges should not be fluffy. It can push small rugs rather than mount them to vacuum. We just toss them outside when the robot is working. I have removed a throw rug while it was in the process of Vacuuming it! I sat there for a moment or two trying to figure out what the heck happened! It finally decided that the rug was no longer there, so it lowered the mop heads a MOPPED the floor instead! Debris like a leaf that dropped from a plant, may be pushed around, a minor issue! Mapping and Zones- The units will draw a map on the App, and name rooms (room 1, room 2, etc). You can change the map, names and boundaries as you wish. You can instruct to clean any one or more of the rooms, or all (default is all). You can also clean by “Zones”, on the fly. The mapping allows you to draw zones over-top of the room layout and you can specify multiple “Zones” on the fly, to clean. Zones are not stored! 6. Multiple floor maps (ex- 2nd floor)- We don’t have multiple floors but we do have a 3 Season Porch with outdoor carpet, that is not part of our indoor floor mapping, so it’s like another floor. You can keep your Dock where it is and carry the robot to the 2nd floor. It will intuitively recognize another floor situation then map and clean it. The App will store these “Other” maps. The only condition is that you will have to carry the robot back down the the floor where the dock is located. Our dock is next to the wall adjoining our outside porch, so I just sit the dock on the porch, in case it needs to empty in progress. In summary, the cleaning is thorough, the maintenance is minimal, the App and logic are Intuitive and flexible and the price is good. I would Highly recommend!

   For most people who know me, they know I’m a Virgo — meticulous in my selections and brutal when it comes to reviews, especially around quality.

   That said… I love this product. It’s honestly very good.

   Of course, if you want the robot to clean everywhere, you’ll still need to do a bit of prep — like lifting chairs or giving it access to tight spots. But this piece of tech? IS GREAT.

   Why?
   I walk around with white socks, and they stay white. I walk barefoot, and nothing sticks to my feet.
   Yes, it cleans. And it cleans well.

   Es la primera vez que compro un robot aspirador y la verdad me sorprendio todas las funciones que tiene aparte de lo bien que limpia. No lo e probado en condiciones extremas pero para lo que necesito que no se junte polvo diario en mis pisos, limpie mientras no se esta en casa lo hace muy bien en alfombra , madera y pisos.
