   I was excited when I ordered this vacuum. I was expecting a unit that could handle the workload. Light vacuuming in corners, crevices and around pet crates. The extension pole cracked, the on off switch won’t engage the motor.the light flickers when you slide the power switch forward however the the motor WILL NOT start the with a new fully charge Dewalt battery, I bought separately for $179 at H.D. This is really too bad. When the machine worked for 15 mins tops, the suction was impressive. Thanks

   I like this so much I’m actually going to buy two more of them one for my shop and one for my basement. They work great for what I want them for. Picking up little dust bunnies keeping things tidy. The only issue I see with it is battery longevity. They go through batteries fast even the big ones. But if you’re not doing industrial work these things are great. I wish they would sell filters separately. There’s no option to purchase spares. They’re not listed anywhere there’s no part numbers. So that’s the issues I am with this unit. It’s awesome it’s got a lot of suction power it’s easy to work with. The downfall is the battery time and the filter. Other than that it’s great

   I’ve had three of these vacs. They are quite good, powerful, loud but not horribly so, and the price is right. I have about a dozen of these DW batteries and it’s great to just swap out batteries. The filter does clog easily but short of buying a very expensive Dyson with proprietary and very expensive batteries that don’t last very long, I prefer this.

   I am these days on a bit of a kick about wasteful and excessive plastic packaging that is just impossible to dispose of properly. In my view, plastic is virtually always unnecessary in packaging except for food products. (At least until there is a more environmentally benign substitute.) You can easily package every dry good on earth in 100% recyclable paper and cardboard. I mean, you can still get eggs in pulp cardboard cartons for crying out loud. vacuum-sale.com is filled with items that are unbelievably over-packaged in clear plastic within plastic within plastic, it’s gotten ridiculous.

   Every single part in this package was packed in its own clear plastic sleeve. Utterly ridiculous and completely unnecessary. Two stars off.

   OK, the headline is an old joke but the suction power of this vacuum is really impressive. All the pieces lead to a great product. Easy to use as a hand vac or add all the extensions and vacuum the floor while standing. Great for my small kitchen floor.
