   I figured for the low price the machine would be iffy. Im surprised at the level of craftsmanship and the unexpected suction power. The thing is a little beast. Very well thought out. It reaches under furniture better than my expensive models. I keep finding new and previously impossible places for this thing to vacuum. I hope they are still available when this one bites the dust from the 7 day a week hard use of it I subject it to. I’ll buy it again!

   This is a great little vacuum. Runs well on my Makita 5AH battery. Suction is actually unbelievably good. Slight concern on the thickness of the suction tubes as they seem to have a fair amount of flex. But so far so good.

   I was looking for a replacement for the very expensive Dyson handheld vacuum cleaner that I had bought a couple of years ago. The Dyson has a design flaw that shuts the unit off after 20 seconds of use. This is a knock off brand that is copying Makita. I am so pleased with it! although it is 50% louder than the Dyson, the suction power is 100% stronger. And it doesn’t shut down. I used it to vacuum the floors of my car and it worked like a champ. I also like that it uses genuine Makita batteries, which I already have.

   Getting out the big shop vac to clean up a small area is a pain. Since I already have plenty of DeWalt tools and batteries the Litekon Cordless Vac seemed like a good option. Boy, has it been useful. So easy to use. No cords just turn it on and clean up. My shop has never looked better. A big corded shop vac still has its uses and it has a LOT more suction power than the Litekon unit, but that is to be expected. Happy to have this in my workshop. – It’s handy inside the house too. My wife hasn’t seen it yet, but I expect I’ll have to buy another.

   I’ve been using this for everything in my house, from cleaning window sills to cleaning out cupboards I’ve been cleaning out. Also used on my floor and I love it. The suction power is amazing and even with the attachments it still has its power. Comes with extenders for standing up and also with several different brushes and attachments. Very easy to use and the battery lasts. Works great better than my other cordless vacuums and it has the power of my corded ones. Easy to clean.

   I got this because my dad was complaining about a shark he had finally broke down, and I have been perpetually disappointed with small vacuums I got for car cleanups, etc. Mine in my Arizona place is absolutely awful. I saw this and thought it was worth giving it a try because I saw something about it that gave me hope: it ran on same batteries as chain saws and leaf blowers. That gave me a clue that this thing might have sufficient power. Now, we had a dewalt lithium max 20V battery at the lake place, but only one, and I really don’t like that so I did order an additional battery, as without fail, your battery will not be charged when you need it. In all fairness, as well, vacuums use a lot of juice. Having extras batteries is important. Not to mention, my dad’s drill is quite old so a 10 year old 20v battery is going to be a little diminished. The good news is, there is no end of of dewalt 20v max clone batteries on vacuum-sale.com. You will have no issue with that. Still, I wish that these manufacturers would include at least one with the vacuum. But, it is readily available, and here’s the thing: this works really well. I actually liked the vacuum enough to buy a battery adapter so it would work with another system of batteries I got from harbor freight, since I have many of those batteries as well. It ensures we always have plenty of power! This actually was a very pleasant surprise in that it worked. Let me backup, because it is important to note that this is not just a compact vacuum, it also has the accessory kit with extensions that will allow you to use it as a ground sweep, not just a car vacuum, or a hand vac. The extension tubes and floor accessories allow you to use it as a hard floor sweep as well, and honestly that so far is where it is getting most of its use, and it is doing a good job, for a pretty reasonable priced vacuum. In fact, it cost less than the vacuum I have in Arizona, and I literally hate using it because it fills up so quickly, and it just doesn’t enough power. This one does, and bonus, there is actually a decent sized dust container, so you can get a fair amount of stuff done with it. Doing these reviews, I think what I have realized is that I can give the positive and negatives of items, and maybe it will or won’t matter to those who read it, but I do think it matters if I tell you not just if I would buy it again, but would I buy another one for an addition location, or need, since I already have one. This one, I definitely plan on buying another of this item, even though I got one from vine for doing this review. This is a solid vacuum, and I am pretty happy to have gotten it. I have a lot of power tools, and since I can use other batteries on it, and, the battery system makes sense to me. You can buy a lot of tools that fit the dewalt system and you can get better use of your battery investment. I have chain saws and leaf blowers that use the same batteries. I am pretty happy with this vac. The only thing is, I kind of had a rule about items that didn’t come with their own battery of not giving it four stars. But I do like this a lot, and I am going to forgive this for it. Go buy batteries from vacuum-sale.com for it, if you don’t already have dewalt Max batteries just search for them on vacuum-sale.com. There is an image on the purchase page showing the battery numbers that it is compatible with. It’s not hard to find, and they are relatively reasonable, and you will get a pretty good vacuum for a pretty reasonable price that actually works.

   This Litekon cordless vacuum comes with two extensions which extends over three feet reach so I can easily reach window shades or other higher areas that need dusted or cobwebs removed. It also comes with a round brush, straight brush, and floor nozzle for attachments. The instructions show a belt hook and flexible hose but the box did not include them. It has good suction and comes with a spare filter. We will be using this in our shop for cleanup and also for cleaning our car and rv. Battery fit great and we love the option of using our existing Dewalt batteries.

    I mean the thing works really well and the price point is pretty low — works with DeWalt batteries – just as it says. I have a lot of trouble putting on the filter/collection – doesn’t seem like it fits right – takes me a few minutes to attach – weird design – could be a lot better. Also, the thing came used. There was a small amount of dirt/dust/hair in the unit – definitely not new. And the black piece with the filter/collection is pretty scratched up. It could be from a lot of shipping but looks pretty used. That’s actually not even my gripe. It’s just too small for doing floors in a typical home; even in the smallest apartment (which is how I’m using it), it’s just not going to replace a typical vacuum — too small. The power is there for sure, but too awkward and small for most things; it’s actually painful and frustrating to use. Now, I was also going to use it in my woodshop, but, again, it’s just too small of a tool. The only thing this would be good for is small table crumbs – getting in corners and maybe cleaning off your miter-saw or table-saw – maybe cleaning off your worktables… But at that point, you’ll already have a dust collection system or, like in my case, you’re just better off blowing that onto the floor and sweeping it up later or using a real vacuum. I’ll be returning this. It’s not a bad product by any means, but it’s not replacing a typical shop-vac or a regular house vacuum – not even close.

    After six weeks: Nice little vac for the money. Yes, it’s a bit loud, but it’s a vacuum cleaner… I expect noise. The attachments are pretty functional, though the extension tubes could benefit from some locking tabs. They hold together by friction alone, and a few lateral bumps loosen them up a little too quickly. I do find it a bit tricky to align the dust container to the base after dumping, but I imagine it’ll get easier with time and I’ll get used to it. The biggest thing I think people should know is the battery life is SHORT with this little guy. I have quite a few DeWalt devices and nothing drains the battery like this thing. No kidding, I can weed whack my entire yard with my DeWalt string trimmer, and the 60V Flex battery loses maybe one bar on the battery meter. This vac wipes the same battery pack out in 20 minutes! My 20V packs last 8-10 minutes of solid vacuuming. For me, this is beneficial, as it’s good to routinely drain battery packs to maintain good battery health and my devices don’t run them down often enough. If all you have is one 20V battery, though, having to stop vacuuming to recharge often will probably be a negative for you. Hope this helps!
