This is a decent handheld vac. It has two power settings for the amount of suction you need and it’s easy to dump. It takes a little elbow grease to get the filter out, but once you do it’s pretty simple to clean up. One thing I’ll note is that this is ideal for cleaning up larger particles. Since there is only a single filter inside, and because it’s on the small side, fine particles like ash will clog it up in no time at all. You can also use it with or without the charging base since the cord that plugs into it doesn’t have to be installed in the base if you don’t want it to be.

I wanted this for my car. It works great for a quick cleanup for small messes. It could be used for bigger jobs in your home but I prefer a bigger vacuum for that.
