Suction is not as good as my old dyson, but it still pulls dust even from carpet, has a decent run time on a charge, lightweight, and easy to use. The bristles on the motorized head are nice and soft, so as long as there is no hard debris contamination in the brush it should be safe on hard floors.
I would have given it 4.5 stars at this price point, but now I am debating between 3 and 4, because of the tiny dust bin that I had to empty 2-3 times per carpeted room, or end up with a clogged hepa filter and suction dropping significantly (not to mention needing to replace the filter a lot sooner). I would imagine this might be a good deal for someone in a small hard floor apartment on a tight budget, but the more your circumstances deviate from that, the less I can recommend this unit.

Ordered this vacuum for my mom. When we got it, you could tell it was used. The canister was full and the wand was completely clogged. I did NOT pay for used. After spending the time to clean it and unclog the wand, tried using it on the hard wood floors in her house and it did terrible. She is a single woman with no pets. Just some light dust on the floors and it would not even pick that up. This is a TERRIBLE vacuum. Do not waste your time or money. I am returning it immediately!!!
