   This vacuum worked really well for about 18 months. I was happy with how it performed during that time.

   When it stopped working, I tried to use the warranty I had purchased with it. That’s when I discovered that vacuum-sale.com hadn’t properly recorded the delivery to my home, and because of that, Bissell canceled my warranty coverage.

   Even though this was clearly an error between vacuum-sale.com and Bissell—something I had no control over—they still refused to honor the warranty I paid for. This whole experience has really made me lose trust in both Bissell and vacuum-sale.com’s warranty programs.

   I can’t recommend buying this vacuum or its warranty after how they handled this situation. Just be aware that if there’s any small documentation issue, they might use it to avoid honoring the warranty you paid for.

   LOVE this vacuum. The CleanSense feature is awesome – it detects if you’re on carpet or hardwood and adjusts the settings to the type of floor. It’s super light, works GREAT. Really worth what you are paying. And the canister holds a lot of dirt/hair/debris. I’ve tried Hoover and Shark, and this is the best one I’ve had by a long shot.

   Very powerful vacuum and very good on carpets and hard floors. But it is awkward, heavy and not user friendly. Would be good in a big area!
   Easy to clean out but so heavy. I am sorry I got that. I was looking fir a lighter thing for quick sweeping!

   been using this for a while now and it’s held up really good. Picks up all the dirt we need, not too heavy to carry up the stairs and suction is actually great. It is pretty easy to clean and so far we’ve had no issues and only a positive experience with this cleaner.

   This is a wonderful vacuum! I got it for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! It works so good and she loves all the attachments and the fact that it is so easy to use. Easy to dump out and not have to worry about buying bags. You won’t be disappointed! Great quality!

   I have one med. length hair cat, a 1800 sq foot home with hardwood floors and mixed types of throw and area rugs of different heights and fiber types (which is why I liked the idea of a sensor). I brush the cat daily, and vac every 4-8 days. After first 2 initial uses, the bin was halfway up to the “full” line so I went to empty it, I decided to check the filter. It was COATED in 1.5 of hair. I was shocked I have NEVER seen a vac do this and I have had many brands over the years from shark to kenmore, and other bissells. So I contacted the company, I give their customer service 10 stars, they are very prompt, and extremely easy to work with absolutely the best customer service I have ever dealt with for anything. They sent me a new bin and filters for my vac, said that would fix the problem. I tried it once it arrived, nope…same thing. So they had me ship that vac back to them and they sent me a new one (very promptly, within 4 days). But, the new one did the same thing (see pictures). I have included pictures of the build up of hair and dirt on the filter, and this was right after they sent me the new one, and I only managed to do half the house until I started hearing it struggle so I stopped it after I did the upstairs, before starting on the downstairs to check the filter. Again, this is with one cat groomed daily and I vac every 4-8 days, most of the dirt is not saying in the bin, its going on the filter. Being advertised as being for “pet” homes and between balling up the fur on carpets, and everything in the bin getting stuck on the filter, I’m shocked it does this what if I had a St. Benard lol. It does have suction and alot of power, but sometimes it has a hard time picking up hair on certain carpets, not bad but I have to go over the area. have to stop after about 3 rooms and clean off the filter. The upholstery tool works REALLY well I love it, it uses rubber fins instead of brushes when I looked at it I thought it wouldn’t work but it was WAY better then the brush kind, literally the BEST I have ever had for that, which is why I will give it 3 stars along with the customer support and I like the sensor. It also is hard to push on med pile carpets, tho its a heavier built vac so thats to be expected. However, it does also beat the crap out of certain carpets, my braided area rugs are beat to death, its pulling up clumps of fibers on the carpets. I do like the lift off feature great for steps, the cord is a good length, I like the hose its a good length and flexible and I like the wand, and the adjustable air flow. I LOVE the sensor part, it does its job well, and with having so many area rugs in the house it has been a back saver not to have to bend down all the time to mess with a height adjustment, and that part works perfectly. The cat says the noise level is “fine” (she lets it come right up to her, doesn’t phase her in the least). It does great on bare floors This vac does blow some of the pet hair around as you approach the area, because the air exhaust is just above the vac head, so it blows “at” the hair and sometimes I’m having to chase down a hair ball or dust bunny as the vac is blowing it away from me as I”m moving towards it, BUT THIS IS NOT UNCOMNON WITH ANY UPRIGHT VAC I ran into this with all the other vacs to, so I’m not saying that part as a negative on this vac, its just a heads up that with pretty much any upright you’ll have that issue if you got bare floor areas. I do feel the vac is built well and will last a lot longer than the other vacs I’ve had. I’m just super disappointed about the filter tho, thats a huge deal killer with this vac. Even with my smaller shark rocket I had I didn’t have to stop every few rooms to empty/clean the bin/filter (tho, that one bit the dust after only 9 months, and my kenmore lift off died 6 months after purchase…..so at least this one is still going strong and not showing any signs of breaking down, I’ll give it that!) Update, after being sent the 2nd replacement vac by the company and having the same issue, I contacted the company again. They said to send it back (again) and they will replace it with a 3rd one. I’m not sure yet whether I’m going to mess with that, in the meantime I just decided to go out and get a different brand vacuum, used new brand yesterday and it had zero issues with the filter clogging up. UPDATE #2: I am giving it an extra star from 3 to 4. I did go ahead and send back the 2nd one, and Bissell sent me a 3rd one along with some free extra filters. In the meantime I bought a shark, I thought the shark was doing pretty good (and one big bonus is that it didn’t clog the filter the way the bissell did) however, I started noticing the shark had a hard time picking the cat hair off certain carpets, so after vacuuming the whole house with shark, I went over it again right away withe the new 3rd bissell, and it picked up alot more cat hair the shark had missed. Still having same issues with filter with the 3rd bissell, but the amount of hair it picked up right after I used the shark made me decide I prefer the bissell between the two. I’ll keep the shark tho as a backup and for light duty clean ups as I its easier to maneuver and still does a decent job of cleaning.
