   I’m super impressed with this vacuum. The power it has to pull up dog & cat hair off of thick carpet is incredible. I love the retractable cord and the little lights on it that help you see in the nooks and crannies. It’s a bit heavy and bulky but if you want something with power that can pull up the hair and really give your carpets a deep clean, this is the vacuum you need

   I did extensive research on vacuums for pet hair and no tangling of the brush roller or clogging up all the time. This Bissel came up as the top pick, but I still continued my search and used it as a comparison. I purchased it based off functionality, features, reviews and brand. Setup was so easy! It is a little heavy, but don’t let that deter you! This vacuum is dynamite and a powerhouse! The light is bright and really lights your path. I have 3 cats and had a thin layer of fuzz on my carpet that my other vacuum could not pick up. I only vacuumed less than half of my livingroom and what a difference! All the hair and fuzz were picked up. I filled the dustbin! I emptied it easily, but still needed to reach in for a couple of fuzzballs. That was a little inconvenient, but small potatoes compared with the performance. Price was a little higher than I normally pay, but the features and power This has makes it worth it! Bissell also supports pet charities, so my purchase helps feed and care for other pets. If you have pets who shed, you NEED this vacuum! The accessories are a bonus for stairs, walls, baseboards and furniture!

   Unboxed and put it together. Was impressed by easy assembly and couldn’t wait to try it. The retractable cord and attachments is what drew me towards purchasing this vacuum.

   It did an amazing job on my carpet in the living room. Pulled stuff out of my carpet that my 15 year old Dyson just wasn’t getting anymore. I was so impressed.

   I then took it to my low carpet and hard floor where my excitement took a turn. Did a terrible job picking anything up on bare floors.

   It’s going back and I’m spending the extra again to get another Dyson….

   I’ve waited an entire year to review this vacuum. When I got it I did not love it, I felt it was bulky and not as strong as my previous vacuum. It does do an acceptable job. pros: -this is the easiest vacuum to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. I fully believe this will last the better portion of a lifetime purely because of the ease to repair if needed. -the light at the front shows every single pet hair and crumb on the floor. frankly, not sure i wanted to know all that. -several settings which is nice but not always something i need. nice to have options though. cons: -not the strongest suction. this is really why it isn’t 5 stars for me. – I wish it had more attachments. The two provided are helpful but I feel another, wider, brush style would be beneficial. certainly something you could acquire outside of this purchase.

   Worked beyond expectations. I have 2 shedding dogs and this picked up an INSANE amount of hair and other dirt/debris. Rarely ever have to deep clean the brush, because it doesn’t get stuck like a normal vacuum. I have to empty it often, but that’s because it does such a good job picking up hair. I recommended this to my sister and she loved it as much as I did. Well worth the money.

   Second Bissell Pet hair vacuum that I have purchased since December 2024.
   I have 2 furry cats and unfortunately, black oriental carpets.
   This model worked okay first 3 times. Now it leaves streaks in the carpet and it takes more than 20 minutes to vacuum an 8’ x 10’ carpet. Canister is very small so I need to empty it twice during a session. I vacuum twice a week because my cats shed a lot. But Im disappointed with my his vacuum performance so last Bissell I will buy, doesn’t live up to what it claims to deliver.

   I never thought I’d write a review praising a vacuum but this is so worthy! I have 4 cats so needless to say we see a lot of cat hair around the house. One pass over with this vacuum and my area rugs looks as good as the day we bought them; I haven’t seen them so clean in ages. The carpeting on the stairs, where my cats love to sleep is also restored to its original beauty.
   Other reviews mentioned it’s not good on bare floors and I do agree but I have a robot vac for that, this one is solely for getting the cat hair out of our carpets and upholstery. I couldn’t be happier!

   Overall this vacuum works great. It’s very powerful, suction is fantastic & it’s so easy to empty the bin & maneuver. I absolutely LOVE the retractable cord. Makes putting it away a snap. My only complaint is the hair ‘cutting’ brush. It definitely doesn’t work as shown. I have long hair & it gets wrapped around the brush head just like every other vacuum. It seems to happen somewhat less? But I haven’t seen any proof of the ‘cutting’ feature that was advertised. Overall still very happy with my purchase, though I’ll probably buy something else when it comes time to replace it.
