   I’m not someone who usually likes to write about anything and therfore writing a review is not my top list of priorities
   However I felt I had to take a few minutes to share my experience with the Bissell 2998 Vacuum

   I absolutely love this vacuum. I’m a long time loyal fan and customer of Bissell
   This new vacuum that I recently purchased with vacuum-sale.com is amazing. First a huge thank you to vacuum-sale.com for making the purchase affordable for customers with their payment plan

   This vacuum has above all superior suction power. It is not as noisy as my previous vacuums. It maneuvers quite well. Numerous options for the maneuvering.
   It’s pretty much a lightweight vacuum.
   What I want to point out is that there’s LED Lights built in the vacuum at the front
   I have a degenerative eye condition and I have to say this feature is very important for me and I am very happy with Bissell for having this feature
   I am totally satisfied with my purchase

   Love it! This vacuum is fairly light and easy to maneuver. I Love the light which allows you to see more stuff on your floor than you realized was even there. I have a Dyson Animal stick back and this vacuum cleaner was able to suck more dirt out of a rug than that stick vac did. It was very eye-opening. The biggest reason I bought this was because it was advertised as not being heavy and it’s also lift off so I can do my stairs which in our new home are now carpeted. As well as the whole upstairs is carpeted where the lower level is hard surface floors. So this versatile vacuum can be used in both areas.

   Quite impressive. I have 3 different vacuums ( one for each floor) which were quite expensive. This is my preference and works the best. I didn’t think the light would matter and by golly. It hits the places I missed by my previous vacuum and I thought I was being thorough.

   The BEST vacuum ever!!!
   We have 5 huskies so a good vacuum is a necessity in my home. This thing is amazing. It’s design is perfect for getting in the tough spots between my furniture and all the other hard spots the hair likes to get too. It’s also very east to break down and make it hand held portable to get the stairs nice and de-fured lol. It’s super easy to use and has the perfect amount of power for any job. It was well worth every penny we spent. Easiest vacuum ever. I love it so much I tell everyone about it!!!

   This is the best vacuum I’ve ever had, especially with two long haired dogs and a cat. It’s got a powerful suction, the whole wand detached, not just the hose, making corners and baseboards easy. The light illuminates fur on hardwood that can’t be easily seen by the naked eye. The attachments work well for pillows and couches. The roller is self cleaning where other vacuums get bogged down by tangled fur. The compartment is easy to empty and the vacuum has good tilting and maneuverability.

   Honestly, posting the picture showing the nastiness this stuff pulled up from my house is embarrassing, but it’s the best way to show just how incredible this machine is. We rent, and have a carpeted living room (which is the worst). I’ve spent the last 4 years “vacuuming” that carpet (and the rest of the house) with another cheap corded vacuum I’ve had for years and a robotic shark vacuum that was like triple the price of this Bissell, but didn’t realize how little cleaning was actually happening all this time. I’ve become been a huge Bissell fan as I now have one of their hard floor steam mops, one of their carpet cleaners and their little green cleaner. I’ve been so impressed with all of them so I decided to step up my vacuum game, sticking with Bissell brand of course. Not to mention, finding out from our vet that our dog has some pretty bad allergies to dust mites, it made me get curious about how my “clean” house could possibly have dust mites. I didn’t even think about how many dust mites likely live in the living room carpet. But I thought, “I vacuum and dust constantly, it can’t be that bad!!” Well, I was horribly wrong. This machine literally opened my eyes and had me kicking myself for not buying a more powerful vacuum like this one sooner. I always thought I’d want cordless vacuums but I’ve found that cordless isn’t always better… The vacuum is easy to assemble and easy to maneuver too. It is powerful obviously (see pictures) and the light feature is amazing. You’d be surprised (and probably grossed out in the best way like I was) by the amount of hair and other junk the floor that the lights enable you to see. The attachments are handy as well as I’ve already used both of them multiple times. And the machine as a whole is not super heavy whatsoever; I can pick it up with ease. Overall, this vacuum has blown me away; my dogs itching and sneezing has already calmed down significantly. Our house smells better too after a deep clean with our carpet cleaner and multiple rounds of vacuuming with this! I love supporting Bissell and the work they do for animals in need. For that reason (amongst many others) I’ll never buy from another brand. Don’t wait like I did, buy it now!!

   I’ve had this for a while now… and it works great. We have 2- huskies so it picks up alot of dog hair. Its light weight and easy to carry around. It is a nice vacuum and the price was reasonable too.

   First off, this vacuum is probably one of the best vacuums I’ve owned in the sense that it does a great job picking up. We have 2 German Shepherds and when they shed, they SHED and this vacuum makes very short work of all the fur that’s left behind.

   The reason I do NOT recommend it: The unfortunate part and the reason I’m returning it is after only a week and a half of using it I’ve had to untangle it twice, the first time was with the pet tool and the second was with the main beater bar assembly which was so bad that it stopped, began smelling and when I disassembled it to remove the tangle I found that part of the beater bar assembly had melted.

   The vacuum itself is great, does a great job but there is a design flaw and hopefully Bissell can get this rectified because it definitely has potential of being fantastic!

    Absolutely LOVE this Vacuum! I have a German Shepherd-Husky that sheds a LOT. Name every brand, i’ve tried it and Bissell has always come out on top for me with being able to handle that much hair. The lights on the front is perfect for seeing the dirt and dog hair on my light colored tile and for seeing anything on my carpets! It has an adjustment for high/low pile carpet, and a couple of very useful attachments for getting the hair and dirt off of sofas, along baseboards, and hard to reach areas. IF I COULD GIVE MORE STARS I WOULD!!

    Initial impressions after replacing my 15 year old Kenmore clunker. PROS: light in weight, super easy to assemble, seems to have good suction, easy controls, nice handle for carrying, pod removal is a good feature, bagless but seems fairly easy to clean, no hitches so far. CONS: cord is too short, you literally have to switch the plug to different outlets to reach all areas on a floor (that’s the main reason I didn’t give it 5 stars); swivel steering takes a while to get used to; the detachable brush for cleaning small places is anemic, I’ll wear that sucker out in a few months. Let’s hope it lasts as long as the Kenmore.
