   I was really looking forward to using this vacuum for picking up the pet hair on my couch and bed.

   Upon receiving the vacuum, I immediately went to try it out on the couch and after several passes, I realized it was not picking up anything at all. I flipped it over to inspect where the vacuum suction is and there is a tiny square-shaped opening located off to the corner of the device.

   This is a major flaw in the design of this device and it could have had the potential to be great if the opening for the vacuum suction actually went all the way across the bottom instead of a tiny little open square off to the side. Totally ineffective and such a disappointment.

   It was packaged nicely for shipping. It also comes with a small brush to help with cleaning out the 2 filters. It is about the size and weight of a hair blow dryer with an attachment. The sound is what you expect for a small vacuum. Similar to another review, the casing around the motor gets rather hot rather quickly. But, it It has better suction power than I expected considering the actual opening is about the size of a Lego (I included a picture). I am having a problem with the clear part (where the debris goes) staying connected to the unit while I am using it. If I hold it in using my left hand and vacuum with my right hand, all is well. I bought this primarily for getting crumbs and fuzzies off the sofa or bed. For that purpose, it works well. No comment on the UV light as I wouldn’t know how to test out the benefits at this time. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others as long as the coupon is still active.

   This contraption doesn’t work at all. The light is never on and the suction is very poor. Im so upset that I missed the window for return. This is a waste of money time and effort.

   The vacuum worked great on my mattress. I never would have thought that it had collected so much dust and strange-looking fuzz. I wish I had bought this sooner. I didn’t give five stars because I would have preferred a cordless, rechargeable vacuum instead of one with a long electric cord. However, it worked great!
