I used this for the first time after thanksgiving to clean up my Traeger ironwood xl and it worked like a champ. Simple to assemble and use different sizes for different use cases. There is a filter part that I am guessing is a standard fit for these kind of machines and can easily be bought after market.
Suction power is strong enough to get all the dust and crevices, even some flakes that is a mix of grease and dust can get picked up. Just watch out not to get too much grease as I am sure the clean up inside the vacuum wont be pretty.
Its worth the money and I have used black and deckers before, its just as good but more value.

Pretty good, but it gets clogged easily with fine ash and also chunks of coals.
The feet are absolute garbage. They fall off all the time. They need a fastener of some sort to hold them in place. I haven’t done it yet, but I am planning to use epoxy to attach them permanently.
If I had it to do over again I’d just only vacuum up ash after it’s cold and use my regular full-size shop vac.

Works better than my previous Vacuum. The end of the hose is plastic and will melt if the ashes are hot. The hose is holding up great so far. It will shut off if it over heats. If you let it cool down it will work again.

Have used it twice to do a full cleaning of my pellet stove. It’s easy to set up and use. It’s fairly light, but the build seems OK for its intended purpose. Would be more stable with 4 wheels instead of 3, but it functions well. Great suction power, and it’s easy to clean unit after use. Great value! Has already saved me money vs. hiring someone to clean the stove.

This AshVac has a couple of negative aspects in my opinion. Also has many positive aspects.
I think it really needs 4 wheels, not 3. It tips over a lot. Can I order a 4th wheel?
The hose does not swivel. Makes it difficult to get into the corners or up top inside of pellet stove. Even just switching from the different surfaces (sides, bottom, top). I have to manually move the position the attachment.
I do think the suction is very good. The hepa filter is excellent. The fire prevention filter is super easy to clean. The cord length is optimal.
I definitely appreciate the top air inlet. Nothing leaves the vacuum and flys all over the place. What you suck up stays inside!! Amazing!!
Overall great value for the money. Despite the 2 negatives I spoke of, I would recommend this to anyone who needs such a product.
