Excellent vac!! Nice quality made, fantastic suction power, definately put my actual shop vac to shame in that area. Compact, easy to clean with filter and larger particle bag. Just with the cord and hose where a little longer. Both are annoyingly short. Otherwise…….awesome vaccuum!

We had purchased another brand ash vac a few years ago that we left with a home we sold and when we were once again in home with a fireplace tried to re-order it but it was no longer available. So we ordered this one and unfortunately were disappointed with the performance. It was satisfactory but not to the level of our previous ash vac at the same price. Returned after one use.

This little vacuum does a great job cleaning out the fireplace. Plenty of suction and a metal nozzle that won’t be damaged by an overlooked coal or ember. Neither will the metal canister be affected. It’s labelled as “heat resistant”, since it does contain some plastic parts, and I’m pretty sure the filters (canister and bag) wouldn’t stand up to a hot coal. But that’s just common sense – don’t clean out the ashes until you’re certain they are cold!
I shovel out the bulk of the ashes first, to spread on the compost pile. Then the vacuum gets everything out of the corners to leave a clean fireplace, particularly important at the end of the season. My only wish is that the cord was quite a bit longer, and that there were some sort of cord management built onto the vacuum, even just a couple of hooks to wrap the cord around. Minor, but vexing.

The TROURAY Ash Vacuum Cleaner is very efficient for tidying up fireplaces, grills, and stoves, as I’ve (my children) used it to clean up all 3. It has a 2.6-gallon heat-proof canister and 800W suction capacity, effectively collecting ash, dust, and debris. Its slim design enables simple handling, and the included blowing feature aids in accessing difficult areas. Perfect for residential use, this vacuum ensures areas remain tidy and devoid of ash accumulation. As a newcomer to this product, I think it works wonderfully with powerful suction for fast cleanups. It’s easy to carry but strong, effectively managing ash from fireplaces and pellet stoves. Though it may not be the most attractive, its ability to withstand heat provides reassurance, and the blowing feature is a nice addition. My children no longer hate seeing ‘clean the fireplace’ on their weekly chore list.

This is a great little vacuum to keep the side the wood stove. It does a great job of cleaning out the Ash and sifting out the big pieces. Good value for the money spent. Just the right size.

This is my first ash vacuum, and so far, it works great! The suction is strong, making cleanup quick and easy, and the canister is lightweight but sturdy. It handles fireplace and pellet stove ash with no problem. I’ll never go back to sweeping up ashes and trying to shovel them into a trash bag. Even though it isn’t the most attractive, having a heat-proof option for this job is worth the piece of mind. Though I haven’t used it yet, the blowing function is a nice bonus too!

I ordered this to keep me from having to go crazy with the whisk broom when doing a total clean-out on my fireplace, and I am pleased with it overall. It is a bit on the small side, so I can’t use it to clear the whole fireplace, but once I shovel out most of the ash this vac does a good job of clearing out what is left and what is in the crevices. It is plenty strong to vac up ashes and has not clogged up yet. It is pretty light, so it is easy to carry to and from the fireplace. It’s also reasonably quiet, for a house vac, but I still wear earmuffs to protect my hearing. It is easy to empty.
The hose is long enough for my situation, but it would have been nice to have a longer cord. I have to use an extension cord with it. And there is no place to hold the hose and cord on the vac – I had to coil them and use a strip of velcro to keep them together. I am not sure how useful the blower function will be for me, but it works well if I need it. I do like the cleanable filters and have no issues with washing them out. I did think it was a bit pricey, with similar 5-gallon vacs going for less.
